Mummy's girl no more?

Freya's always been proud and unashamed of being a Mummy's girl.

Whenever Anna sits down, Freya is never far, and automatically jumps up to sit in her lap. She snuggles in, and kind of gloats at me, as if to say, Ha! I'm getting the cuddles round here, and you're not!

You can see by these pictures, she knows who's boss, and who gets first dibs on Anna's lap, and I can assure you, it's not me!

This week, Anna's been away, and taken her lap with her.

Freya manged to hold out for about a day, but soon enough, she succumbed to the dark side - that is, Daddy's lap.

We've had some wonderful cuddle time this week, and I've hardly had to bribe her with treets at all!

We still have a bit of a disagreement about my guitar playing, but I'll wear her down eventually.

In the last picture, it's almost as if she's saying "HEY! NO PHOTOS! I DON'T WANT MUM TO FIND OUT!!"

too cute, my bengal boy is definetly not a lap cat at the moment. Maybe when he's older he wont mind a hug.

Hi, Freya! You sure is a cute little handful. Yea, sumtimes we gots to take the availabul lap insteada the one we like mostest. Moms should nefur leaf, but they all do :-(

As fur using da corner insteada the litter box, Mom says to make sure yur usin a carpet shampoo made fur kitty messes, or it won't get all the smell out an Freya will keep goin der. Two ofur tings: 1) haf you changed the type of litter? Kitties don't like dat. Or maybe a diffrint, odor control litter might help. B) you mite fink of puttin a litter box in dat corner. She mite like da location better dan her usually spot. Like, if der's sumfin noisy dat ascares her when we goes in da litter box, she's not gonna wanna use it.

Freya, take it frum me, put yur wee where it belongs an yur staff will be happier an gif yu more treats. Purrs!

Hi, Freya! ::waves:: Welcome to the Blogosphere.

As for the wee problem, tell yer staff to wash owt all the wee with Nature's Miracle. Secund, make shur yer staff knows how partikuler we are abowt the litter in the litter box. Try a FRANGRANCE FREE version. Sum cats HATE scented litter. Arm and Hammer makes a good fragrance free version. And of korse, keep the box kleen. We don't like having to klime over a wall of terds to git in the box.

Welcome to the Cat Blogosphere. Freya, you're very beautiful :-)

We had this problem with our cat Sunny. He wasn't doing the spraying thing, just peeing where he shouldn't. We did what our vet suggested and eventually he quit. It did take a while. First to clean it, you should saturate your carpet with Nature's Miracle. Then cover the area with aluminum foil (cats don't like it) and keep the area covered with foil. If necessary, place an object on the foil to keep it in place. Put slices of lemon on top of the foil (cats hate that, too) and replace lemon slices as needed. It took a while but Sunny finally quit peeing on the carpet and stuck to using the box.

Hi Freya, I just read about you on Skeezix's blog too. You are very pretty and cuddly! There's been a lot of good advice about your peeing problems in these comments so I'm sure they will be sorted out soon. I do hope so:) xxx

P.S. I'm English too. I live in Hove Actually!

Hiya Freya!
You ar a furry pretty Bengal - and we have LOTS of them, in OWR house!
Sometimes peeing in inappropriate places is an indicator of kidney problems or just plain ole STRESS.
Hope you get that sorted out, soon.
WELCOME to the Blogosphere - from Zenith and the Fancidots Gang!
